The research work of Rouen Business School’s professors is grouped into 5 main axes. The issues concerned by each one of them include consideration of responsibility and sustainable development, with the aim of helping businesses and organisations advance towards a better understanding of what is at stake overall, and the implementation of responsible management.

In the Responsible Finance research  group, the Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting and CSR axis works particularly on the mechanisms of corporate governance, the mechanisms for the evaluation of financial assets and their entry into accounts, the socially responsible investments market and the links between social responsibility and the financial and operational performance of businesses.

The research focus of the Contemporary P@thways of Career, Life and Learning group is the new forms of professional careers and of relationships with regard to work and business engendered by the social, economic and technological upheavals of the last few decades. The Spheres of Life axis in this group, then, looks at the connections between the various spheres of life (work, family life, life in the community, association activities, etc.), and at the necessary conditions for creating a more sustainable balance.

In the Young people and responsible consumption group, the ‘Learning how to be a socially responsible consumer’ axis is working on the ways to provide children with all the necessary information for them to take into account the environmental constraints (global warming, depletion of fossil fuel reserves, etc.), without forgetting to teach them to better control the ever-growing symbolic power of brands and products.

In the Customer, Retail & Supply Chain group, the Supply Chain Management axis focuses particularly on sustainable supply chains and the internationalisation of trade.

Finally, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre, « Starting Bloc », a group which brings together teaching, and guidance of entrepreneurial and research projects, seeks to provide students and alumni with a place dedicated to their projects and to their guidance by professors of Rouen Business School, entrepreneurship experts and potential financial backers.
