How to consult case studies ?

The CCMP case studies (Centrale des Cas et de médias pédagogiques) purchased by Rouen Business School are recorded in the ILC IDEM catalogue.

2 possibilities :

• These are either available for consultation: the ILC provides a copy of the case study for reading. Only the statement of the case study is available and cannot be used in lessons.

• They are reproducible, because the license has been purchased and they are therefore the property of Rouen Business School. These cases can be used in all programmes, without restriction of student numbers. They are systematically accompanied by a teaching note, and sometimes by a PowerPoint presentation or video.

Since 2005, case studies have been in digital format and some of them are available in both French and English versions.

ECCH case studies (European Case Clearing House): the majority of English-language case studies are acquired via the Cranfield case study collection, which holds case studies from Harvard, Ivey, Stanford, Insead ….
The business model is different. Each case study used must be purchased for each student for each course. Each copy is identified with the teacher’s name, course name and date.
You can view the “inspection copy” by registering on the ECCH website as a faculty member of Rouen Business School. Access to “teaching notes” is only possible after purchasing the case study.

How to order a case study ?

In both cases, you have to send an e-mail to [email protected], indicating the course name and date for the English-language case studies. The ILC is responsible for requesting budgetary approval from programmes (allow at least a one-week period)..
